OCEANN ENT
You can think of Computerized Tomography (CT) Image Guidance as the surgeon’s GPS on their journey while performing your procedure. This GPS-like method helps the surgeon to verify where they are, regardless of if the traditional “landmarks” are present. Situations in which landmarks may not be clear or present include prior procedures and physical trauma.
CT Scans produce three CT sinus views (coronal, sagittal, and axial) that are displayed simultaneously during a procedure. This, along with the real-time endoscopic view, allows the surgeon to pinpoint target areas of the procedure with greater accuracy and security.
This exciting and innovative technology has made a dramatic difference in endoscopic sinus surgery and reduced complications, especially in more difficult cases.
