OCEANN ENT
Dr. Yu-Syken uses an instrument to displace the nasal septum towards midline and uses a shaver to contour any bony spurs obstructing the nasal cavity. This technique is less invasive than routine septoplasty procedures performed in the operating room by other ENTs as it does not require a significant amount of septal cartilage and bone to be removed through a large incision inside the nose.
This minimally invasive technique to perform septoplasty in-office significantly reduces the risk of septal perforation from septoplasties performed under anesthesia in the operating room.
